hi everyone! i want to give my ride a good detail this coming weekend in and out . I'm need advice how to OR safe way to wash under the hood, any DIY or suggestion, anything I need to cover or avoid spraying with my pressure washer? thank you

Read the detailer's guide ... for underhood cleaning PUT AWAY THAT PRESSURE WASHER or the next post you write will be asking why you are having electrical problems!

I have power washed every cars engine I have ever owned for 10 years without one electrical problem ever. Many dealers, of non bmw cars (i have not inquired at bmw) pressure wash the engine after its cooled. Heck a lot of time I do it with the engine hot or warm-never a problem.

Spraying down an engine will not do anything

yea if wires aren't exposed your pretty safe....but things could def go wrong

Just be careful when you do it, especially if the engine is still hot.
