Comfort seats are the best!!! I drove a 330 loaner non-sport that had the regular seats and they had to be the worst seats I ever sat in, after a one hour drive I was going out of my mind. Shame on BMW for ever putting in such poor quality seats.

I can't believe my dealer in Tucson tried hard to talk me out of buying them - next time new dealer.
I see they haven't changed much from when I dealt with them over 10 years ago. At the time they were the only game in town unless you wanted to drive to PHX.

Looks like they still think driving 100 miles to PHX is too far for most potential customers. Worst experience I've ever had with a dealer - stay away! Not only are they clueless but also said they would switch from Dunlop runflats (reneged on this) and fudged a few important details. Next time PHX for sure!

The sport seats in my wife's 540 are awesome, really snug. The sport seats in my 2005 545 are really wide- like they were designed for fat people. And they're not comfortable at all.
She just ordered a 2007 550 sport, so I believe she'll have the comfort seats.
Still, it seems like even the comfort seats are designed for our obese population.

It's not so bad, I just got one of these for my office. 30 minutes on this bad boy after driving into work and I'm as good as new.
Can I order that seat in my E60? You would have to get a set of mirrors and a steering wheel that comes out of the back seat.

At least with the comfort seats in the E60 (unlike our E53) you can adjust the bolsters on the torso to give you a snug fit. But the butt/thigh area still lacks the bolstering that I had on the E39 sport seats.

My sports seats are too comfy and not sporty enough. They don't pinch me down at all so I move too much during hard cornering. Feels like a sofa compared to seats in my Porsche.

I should've gotten Comfort Seats.

This might be BMW marketing. Comfort seat makes big profit to BMW. Now it's part of the sport package.

It took me few week to feel better on sports seats. I don't like it at first, but now I can't tell.
