I regret buying my current E60 because I bought a discounted showroom model and thought I would get to like colour scheme, but never really have.

RULE # 1. NEVER BUY FROM THE SHOWROOM FLOOR! They're on the showroom floor for a reason.

I was kind of lucky as my dealer in San Jose carries a bucket load of inventory and did have the colors and specs I wanted, with the only exception of satellite radio which I could live without (plus BMW's deal is with Sirius and I was an XM customer with my prior car and if I do a retrofit it would be XM anyway). So no major regrets on that front here.

No regrets -- I'd buy a few more if I could afford them...

On the whole I DO NOT regret buying my E60; it's a great car and I am happy with the colour and spec that I have.

I regret

a) Buying an early E60 - the quality really was poor in terms of software and squeeks/rattles.

Things appear to be turning around though with more recent cars (although 1.5 years is a long time to fix it)

b) I regret not waiting another year or so for the Sport model.

When my warranty runs out in another 18months I will certainly be getting another car. Thoughts are :

E90 M3
E60 535d Sport

Quality will have to improve more before I consider another E60. Only time will tell.

Hmmmmmmmm, let's see, picked up my 545I on February 25,2005,
On March 21/05 dealer advises engine is spewing oil all over their poor service bay and car needs a new engine. BMW Canada is playing deaf and dumb and is remaining silent on this affair.

Do I have any regrets? Do I have any regrets? Do I have any regrets?

I am not crazy about the white 320I that they gave me to drive.

Do I have any regrets? Do I have any regrets? Do I have any regrets?

And you want me to be honest ?

25 days of use, CAD $ 1077.00 per month @ 39/mo. $42,003.00

Do I have any regrets? Do I have any regrets? Do I have any regrets?

I have asked dealer how many engines they have replaced, LOL, salesman now tells me he has only worked for dealer for 6 months, Sales Manager for only 3 months.

Do I have any regrets? Do I have any regrets? Do I have any regrets.

Stayed tuned, I will reserve comments for a few more days.

No Regrets. I enjoyed ED. Have a June 04 production car which drives great after 10,000 miles.
I have an excellent knowledgeable dealer who does not hesitate to fix problems or upgrade my car.

I am scheduled for a routine service appointment on April 20th.

They will change my tires and upgrade the software to CIP 16.2 if they have it.
I will also request new door seals which should give me back a brand new car.

Nothing to regret here.

No regrets. Getting one of the very first ones in the states I had fears I would be unhappy with the quality and for me it's been just the opposite. I had the standard few gremlins in the beginning but my dealer worked them out quickly and completely. Ever since then it's been by far the best car I've ever owned.

When the weather got cold I must admit I thought more about if I should have waited to get the 545i....but just recently I reminded myself about the deal I struck with my conscience to pass on the bigger engine and spend the money elsewhere....
