Hi,

We're taking a touring holiday in France and Spain this year and I notice that the Spanish regulations require that vehicles carry:

1. 2 Warning Triangles.
2. Spare Bulb Kit.
3. Spare Wheel
4. Reflective Safety Vest (In the event of a breakdown, it is not permitted to walk to an emergency phone without one).

Option 3 is the only one that concerns me, is this still a requirement in E60s with runflats? - UK E60s with runflats are not supplied with a spare wheel.

Are all Spanish E60s supplied with spares? If so, I guess this answers my question.

Thanks,
Phil.

If the car has no spare wheel then you don't have to concern about it, if the car is legal in that way.
I think that in Spain they have the E60 without spare wheel too.

Another thing, you are not allowed to operate a mobile phone in the interior of the car (without hands free).
If the police stops you and they see a mobile phone in the car without the hands free system you are in trouble.

Have a nice ride and attention to the radar systems checking the speed limits.

Thanks for the advice Tuga,

We're looking forward to the trip. We'll be driving down from Scotland, crossing the channel by Eurotunnel and driving down through France to somewhere near Valencia. Return trip is approx 3,400 miles - should make for a nice road trip.
