tyre switch from front to rear

My Ride: '05 525i
i thought i would put on my summer tyres again. shall i put them as they were originaly placed or shall i switch front with rare?
i know i should not mix left and right.

My Ride: My ex-ride: EU '08 LCI 520dA. Space Grey, Sport Seats in Black Leather/Fabric Anthracite, Sport Steering Wheel, A/C with Extended Features, Hi-Fi Speakers, Cup Holders, Cruise with Braking function, Folding Rear Seats, Xenons, Park Distance Control.
If you have the same size tyres front and rear, mount the better ones rear.
Check for possible rotation directions.

As long as the same size, front to rear will both ensure your best tyres are on the rear and even up tyre wear giving you more options at replacement time.

Always fit your ?best? tyres at the rear. If you are replacing a single tyre then this should be paired with the rear with the tyre having the most tread depth. There are some circumstances when this advice does not apply, such as;
* Where front and rear tyre sizes are designed to be different
* Where a vehicle is designed to have directional tyres at the front and asymmetric at the rear
* Where front and rear tyre sizes are designed to be different
* Where a vehicle is designed to have directional tyres at the front and asymmetric at the rear
