I'm in NorCal and the dealer asked me and had me sign a "waiver" that I opted not for them to place the front plate.
Ditto.

Try BumperPlugs to fill up those holes.
This is the nicest suggestion you could ever make.
That is exactly what I needed.
I'll let you know.
Thanks a lot.

My Ride: 2005 530i (Silver-Gray, Gray Lthr., Anthracite Maple) with Steptronic, Prem. Pkg., Logic 7, Xenons & Chrome factory wheels.

Front license plate bracket was already installed on my 2005 530i (non-SP) when I picked it up. Regret not telling the dealer I didn't want it when the car was still on the boat.

Removed the bracket and put the bracket screws in the holes. The bumper plugs would be a nicer solution.

I've used Bumperplugs on several Porches (which had their front bumpers pre-punched with license plate holes from the factory)--high quality, better than the ugly holes:

I am afraid Bumper Plugs require you make the holes bigger.
If one day I must put the license plate back on. What should I do then??

Oh Man, what a bummer.
"NO PLATE PLEASE" was one of the first comments I made to my dealer. The /M-Aero front bumper flows nicely and the front license plate only makes it look busy.

Sounds like bumper plugs is a good option to making things right.

Good Luck,
-CoolTones

I guess they do that in every state that requires front plates. Since I bought mine in CA, I received my car with a front license plate frame . now I am looking for other options to make it better...either bumper plugs or a European plate.
Hi miss...just curious why you bought so far away? Better deal or impulse or? In my Province we no longer use front license plates so I'm assuming I won't have a problem But considering Murphys Law then maybe I better follow up on this too!
