TV/SAT Nav upgrade

My Ride: 530D, Lowered, Privicy glass, De-chromed, 18"wheels, AC Schnitzer lit, ipod interface, blue tooth prep,
E60 2003.
Does anybody know if i can upgrade my standard single cd player to a TV/Sat nav package.
I have the opertunity of buying the system, but am unsure if any special cables will be required or software upgrade to get the system working?
