Hello everyone,

I noticed that my turn signal ( left and right) work ( also on the dash) but, I can not hear any sound from the dashboard anymore ( the click, click ???. click , click sound) .
I hope it?s nothing big and someone had a solution for me.
It's a 525i (2004).
Thank you very much for the help.

I'm so jealous. I'd love to not hear that click sound anymore.

In the hidden OBC menu there is a way to test the click sound. Can't remember, but its around menu 16.x somewhere.

In modern cars there no longer are (relais?) switches to make the indicators blink and making the well known clicking sound as modern indicators are switched electronically.
So the retro clocking sound is reproduced by some sort of sound module.

Maybe this module is faulty resulting in silence even though the inicators are working ok.

Had that problem for years. Fixed it with hearing aids!

An improvement I would like to see is the visual turn signal added to the HUD display.

You actually want the clicking sound back?

Thanks for all your responses so far

How do you get to the hidden menu? Or do you need a special computer for it?

The clicking sound ( how annoying 80% of the time ) does come in handy ( like when in busy traffic).
