Turn off drl's in "hidden menu"?

can a dealer program the parking lights on, instead of the high beam drl?

Actually in Canada you are required to have DTRLs....at least in Ont. and Quebec, have not been to the western Provs so it may be different there.
In the USA, not required...though many states Require lights on when Raining now...

Pre LCI you have to go to the dealer to get them turned off, post-LCI it is a menu feature in the "i" or straight nob push in menu.

I've had it both ways... Got the dealer to reprogram the wagon when the re-did the electrical system after the Sunroof seal failed.On the 535I I had them off from the time I picked up the car at the dealer, only turned them on during Fun runs with the CCA.

How do I know if my car is a pre or post LCI? I have a 2007 530i and I had always thought it was pre-LCI but I'm in the US and I definitely have the option to turn off DRL in my iDrive.
