I brought the car in for an oil change and brake fluid flush, and slight "ticking" noise when cold.

The ticking noise turned out to be the turbo wastegates, and both turbos were replaced.
The electric water pump was running longer than it should after the car shut off, so that was replaced.
All injectors were scanned, found to be all from the "bad batch," so all 6 replaced.
The High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP) was replaced and the ECU was reprogrammed (both per the recall)
Front brake pads and rotors replaced.
And then the oil change and brake flush, which I originally brough the car in for.

The car is now dirivng as well as when I brought it in! ;-0

This was all covered under warranty (for a cost of about $6,500 USD paid by BMW), but makes me wonder if I want to keep the car when the warranty runs out...

Or you can buy extended warranty and keep the car for a bit longer

Don't forget that the price the stealership will quote you is always high. A qualified indy will be able to perform the same work at a lower price, so the actual cost of ownership should be a lot less.
