Anyone have some trusty mechanics they'd recommend? Somewhere around the LA area. I have an oil leak that looks like a splatter, rather than a puddle.

Andy at Empower Group in Burbank is very knowledgeable with the BMW's and was 1/3 the price for some quotes I got on a couple gasket leaks. Very friendly and will chat over the phone without rushing you.

 

hands down Allen aka HealthServices is the only guy i allow to touch my M5 other than the BMW dealership or myself.

allen has his own operation....including all the equipment, lifts, tools etc that he would need to get almost any job done.

put it like this....my SMG pump failed on my M5....i took my car directly to him....he dropped my tranny and got things back in order in no time....saved me thousands compared to the dealer.
