I am looking for something to keep my trunk items from ending up all over the place. I saw those cargo nets but they seem to just tie stuff down to the trunk floor. I more so wanted something to confine the items to the rear-most portion of the trunk (closest to the rear seat). I googled and found some trunk organizers close to what I had in mind but they where a bit too generic. I wanted something that fits nicely in the e60.

some people bought those plastic boxes at Walmart and fitted directly against rear seat in the trunk. That seems to be a cheap fix. As for me, I just use cardboard box with sticky velcro on the bottom. It holds pretty well, no sliding so far.

I went to Target and bought a trunk organizer for $40. It looks nice and has Velcro on the bottom.

I found that turning the trunk mat over to the rubber side really helps to keep things from sliding around. It tends to make the taller objects tip over since they dont slide.

You guys are cracking me up. How much crap you hauling around?

My trunk has a couple micro fiber cloths in it - that's it.

Edit: I added some cool bag hooks - check out my sig.

Anyone have the name or stock # for the Wal-Mart plastic container? That looks like a great solution.

the problem with the Walmart boxes is that if you put something small in it, it'll skide back and forth in the box making the thumping noise. At least that's what I think therefore I decided to use a medium size cardboard box with hook and loop velcro on the bottom instead

"I wanted something that fits nicely in the e60" vs. "Walmart $8" [And looks it, IMO]
