[/quote]Right. The DVD that comes with the car demonstrates the technique several times. I did it the same way with my previous Volkswagens - the motion required is deliberate and forceful, but it will close the trunk with zero contact with the exterior finish.

Here's a suggestion.
what if you use www.yousendit.com after I donwload it I can post the direct link for others to download it. They keep the files on their server for a limited time 7 days so at least this will give people 7 days to download it.

I suppose I could do that. I'm still hoping that someone will agree to host it and I can simply FTP it up to them so they can provide whatever link they want.
EDIT: the yousendit.com idea won't work -- they don't allow files larger than 1GB and the DVD is around 2.38GB...
Anyone have some space on a server?

i picked up my car a few hours ago from the dealer and they adjusted the springs a bit. now the trunk is easier to close. whoever has hard time to close the trunk, go ask your dealer to adjust the springs a bit. it works .
