Kinda nutty no one has come out with an app or small program to accomplish this.
Seems to be some money sitting on the table with this one.

I don't think that enough people know or care about this issue.

How do you know that the Honda speedometer is correct? Comparing to a GPS is the best calibration for the speedometer. Or, have a cop check your speed with a radar gun!

I really appreciate the info! I've tried the simple coding setting but it's still a few mph high at highway speeds. I was thinking of that pulses per revolution setting but didn't go much farther. May give it a try.

I finally got my v= digital speed in cluster to read SPOT ON.
The HUD and needle are still maybe 1.5 mph optimistic.

Using BimmerGeeks Pro Tool I copied the K_ZAHL_WEG and K_ZAHL_WEG_KOMPL values to K_ZAHL_TACHO and K_ZAHL_TACHO_KOMPL respectively.
These were done in Kombi(cluster) expert coding.
Hats off to Kevin Williams on facebook for helping me.

Interesting. I've decided to just live with it and make mental adjustments within my limited capacities to do so.

LOL
It still bugs you though, doesn't it.
That's the same thing I did before. I feel less frustrated driving, more like I know wtf I'm doing with it really true speed.

Remember that the error is not a % error but a "zero" error of 4 km/h. Its not hard to subtract 4 from whatever reading you see.
Note that the navigation system does not give you the speed, since then it would be obvious that the speedometer is incorrect.

Acually it's more a 'rebel margin'. Heh heh heh, I'm speeding but not as much as indicated. Still, when 170 is showing on the HUD after a brief tap on the gas...
