My salesman said that it is possible to play a DVD in idrive when the car is parked?????? I tried it but nothing happened. When I go into where you choose for a CD to play there is a DVD option but it just says "not supported". Any idea if my salesman was right? I don't really see myself watching too many movies in my car but, I was just curious.

You CANNOT play dvd movies in North American cars without adding extra hardware to allow to do so. If you are not in NA, yes you can play dvds.

My salesman told me too that they can be played while in park...in Europe. Whats the point of watching a movie while in park? It would be cool for it to play while driving down the hwy on trips.....for the passenger of course.
I'm sure there are ways to get it to work in the U.S.
