The same shit happened to me also, when the dealers broke my trim changing the AC regulator.
('05 E60, built in 12/04.)
The BMW factory don't have a clue, of what trims their manufactured cars have (or had from '03 to '05?) .
It took three times for me to get the right one
They try to screw you, but don't give in!
