My Ride: 2006 550i Sport Package, Cold Weather Package, Premium Sound Package, Comfort Access, Xenon Headlights, Adaptive Headlight Control, Navigation System, Steptronic Transmission. Silver Gray Metallic with Gray Leather. Added Red rear reflectors. Swapped stock Style 124 wheels and Bridgestone run-flat tires for BMW Style 125 5-Double Spoke wheels, 8" x 19" front, 9.5" x 19" rear with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires, 245/40YR-19 front and 275/30YR-19 rear.
Default

In preparation for a driving trip to Northern California and back the next few days, I re-installed my OEM 18" Style 124 wheels and Bridgestone RFTs. Man, they are a much harsher ride than my 19" Style 125 wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 2 tires. Tomorrow I may change back again. Not sure I can stand 800-900 miles of hard ride, feeling every bump in the road.

If anyone is wondering if moving to 19" wheels hurts the ride over the 18" RFTs, in my opinion, the answer is a resounding NO!

wise man I cannot wait for my 20"s I tried them and they were much more comfortable even on big bumpy roads than my RFT 17"s true.
