Default Transport mode full engine power not available

2008 535i with jb4 installed. Whenever I put it transport mode on it gives a loss of power message.....anyone know why? Does the jb4 allow me to bypass this message? Here's a pic. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Did you try option 4/3 to turn it off?

??? Transport mode is a special pre-delivery mode. It is supposed to conserve the battery and prevent the car from being abused pre-delivery.

Main reason I know is the bonehead dealer where I bought my wife's 2009 X5 didn't take the car out of transport mode when I took delivery. We were going on a vacation about 700 miles away a few days after buying it and the X5 just acted funny on the trip. Wouldn't go over certain RPM, lift gate wouldn't automatically close, oil level thingy in iDrive didn't work and a few other strange things. I didn't get any message on iDrive like you did unfortunately. Took two visits to the service department before a mechanic said "oh, they forgot to take your car out of transport mode" and that cured all ills.
