Weekly there are a number of posts of people dealing with transmission slam. Some dealerships are quick to resolve the problem (replace the transmission), while others down right refuse and/or put you through months of appointments before they, inevitably, replace the transmission.

Since my dealership has been giving me such a hard time I've considered visiting some nearby dealerships (granted closest to me is 45 minutes away) to try my luck.

I would like to compile a list of those dealers that understand the problem and/or will fix the problem.

Please send me a PM if you have had your transmission replaced due to transmission slam and by what dealer. If you don't want to reveal the dealer, that is fine as well, knowing just how many are getting replaced is also helpful. Approximate date would also be nice.

If its not against the rules I'll post the list here, otherwise please send me a PM and I can make the information available to others that might want it.
