I understand, I was just replying to the OP and if it could be fixed with a simple 25 second reset, so much the better!

I'm having - and a few others - the same problem on a manual (and a virtually new car). I think there is a good possibility this isn't related to the auto trans but rather the actual engine .

i have only 45k on my car.......low miles for an issue that i used to have in my 328i..that ended up being weak VANOS seals

HI all, I have an automatic '05 545i and when I'm in between 30-40 mph the car has some intermittent hesitations. Kinda feels like its caught trying to shift...then when its in DS it does the exact same thing at 60...I took it to the dealership and they said they fixed it and it still does it. Any info would be greatly appreciated
Hello everyone, I'm having this same exact problem. My E60 is an '05 545 with 62k miles. One thing to note is that I used to have a Sprintbooster installed and took it out after 5k miles. I loved the SB but it was too difficult for the wife to get used to the quickness and I didn't want to take the chance of my car getting banged up. Anyways, could the SB be the culprit? Has anyone found a fix? My SA wants to do a tranny flush; not sure if that will fix it.
