got the car back. i am gonna take it easy for now. i think one or both of my diverter valves are leaking boost so i need to fix it (UPDATE on the boost leak. ended up to be an unplugged hose on the rear of the vacuum canister). Also supposed to pick up the 19" HRE 597 wheels next week.
we didn't program the transmission but the car seems to be shifting fine and the SAT feature works too, but the donor vehicle had the SAT option.
also the installer said the tranny fluid was not dirty. So changing the fluid would have done nothing.
i still have my old trans and will take out the valve body and see if i can rebuild it and sell it or install it.
paid $1450 shipped for the used transmission with 80k miles, $600 for labor and $210 for fluid and pan (i think he changed the pan) and driveshaft seal for $90, so $2350 total.
