Anyone know the transit time to the west coast? I've seen conflicting info on this site. Thanks.

I dropped of my car in Nice on July30. It arrived at the port in Oxnard CA on September 6th, was at VPC on 9/10 and at my dealer 9/15. The delay at VPC was because they changed a wheel for me.

I know what you are saying; FAQ says it takes about 15 days to west coast, and people in another thread says 26 days. My case looks like 26 days. My 545 was shipped out in 10/24 and I could get the arrival date to port Hueneme on 11/18!!! It still takes about 26 days to west coast.

Beewang,
Good news!! Is that true that yours also on the same boat? How do you get the ship name "MS Pegasus Diamond"? Which vendor? Can we track it on the web site? Can't stop asking bunch of questions....
Please keep updated....

I am able to find the ship?s name thru my ED Shipper E.H. Harms. There appears to be only one BMW shipper departing Bramenhaven on 10/24 and arriving Port Hueneme on 11/18.

Pegasus Diamond is a NYK line ?roll-on roll-off? car carrier. Unfortunately you cannot track the ship?s movement w/ NYK (not that it matters). I will keep you updated when we get closer to 11/18, as sometimes the ship comes in earlier to unload its cargo in the middle of the night . Of course, the downside is that sometimes a storm can delay the actual arrive time by a day or so.

Cheers,

beewang

My car's status has changed to "In transit to prep center" - How did you find out what ship name and expected arrival date is? My guess is that my 545 is on the same ship.

TIA

TIA, looks like your car sits next to mine or beewang.
OC web or answering system does not tell anything beyond "En route". You should ask your sales associate.... Pls get info and let's have fun together!

Just checked w/ the shipper, as of today MS Pegasus Diamond is now estimated to arrive Port Hueneme on Nov 19.

Oh well.....Let' hope the weather condition improves next couple weeks and perhaps we can get a more optimistic arrival date.

cheers,

beewang
