Anyone know if we will ever get traffic displayed in our nav screen in the USA?

BMW is way behind in this gig in US. The answer is 'No'.

I have not been able to do it. I think not. I'd like to get radar locations displayed even more than traffic. Darn there too.

I think it's possiable from the current equipments installed in the car. Of course with software upgrade and services fees.

But I don't think BMW will provide such service to current e60 owners. They will probably have this option on e60 to attract new customer in the future.

There is a data feed for the major cities which I think comes from Sirius via Satellite. BMW would need at least major software changes and likely Navtech & hardware changes to make this happen. I would expect it in 3-6 years.
