My Ride: E60 "Stripper" Now C6 "Stripper"
Question

Will anyone here be trading in or selling their current E60 just to get that future 550i?

Tempting isn't it?

By the way has anyone noticed that Diplomatic pricing in the USA has dropped to below ED invoice as of 3/2005? Before Diplomatic pricing was alot MORE than ED invoice! It's in our 05/06 pricing sheets!

Not me ... my next move (if any) will probably be a new post re-fresh 550 in 2007 or 2008 or possibly a used E60 M5 if one can be found by then. I'm quite happy with the 545

Ditto - although I would love to have the 550, I don't think the bath I would have to take to trade up at this point is worth it.

Well....when my lease is up in '07, I will definitely look to upgrade, but not before.........besides, I would like to read how the vehicle performs before I buy it!!

Besides........according to BMW, there is no such thing as a 550

Agree with Lomag. It's like upgrading Pentium 4 2.4Ghz to Pentium 4 2.8Ghz.

Nope... although I "want to" but no way is it worth the cost. Basically no difference that I will be able to tell. I dont drive like schumacher all day long. Very happy with the 545.

Negatory. Take a 10 grand bath to get 35 more horsepower in the exact same car, which already rips off a mid-13 quarter mile?

Not worth it until the refresh comes around.
