My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.
The S5 Cab looks good but I also like the E550's AMG package look better.

It has Olivine Grey exterior(looks like a caper color), Natural Tan and black interior, black roof and black headliner.

Olivine grey, can you post a pic of that color. Congrats on the purchase, when do you get delivery. I do love the AMG kit on the E coupe, looks very sexy.
And do let us know if the seats are more comfortable than then 5er seats. A friend of mine is looking into one but not a cabriolet.

No pictures yet and I can't find any on the web, I guess because its only for the first deliveries- Only one per dealer. Not even on their own website.

Good luck pennetta! I'm in the same boat, just can't get excited by F10. Have all but decided to get an M3 instead. I have promised myself that I will actually see the car in person and take some extended driving time but the M3 I test drove was SWEET! And don't be a stranger...

Nice choice of car. I've owned MBs continuously since 1979 and have always enjoyed the cars. I've even had two diesels, and all the sizes from S Class to E Class to my wife's current C230 Sport Coupe. Some had problems, others were totally problem free and one 300SD in 1981 had the best smelling leather interior of any car I've owned.
