The 528 non-sport is fine for everyday driving in the city. But if I had one and I wanted to run the twisties, I would want to do suspension upgrades as the car's suspension really is not made for that kind of aggressive driving. The handling limits are really significant. It is amazing to me how much the sport suspension paired with summer performance tires transforms the character of the car. The power differential did not get my attention as much as the suspension/handling/grip difference.

Titanium Silver Metallic, Black Dakota Leather, Dark Poplar Trim, Steptronic, Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Bluetooth, Adaptive Control Xenons. 10/30/07 Added OEM 124s with 245/40/18 & 275/35/18 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires. Well, my 550 is back and I have returned the 528 non-sport loaner.
Wow, what a difference. You do not really appreciate the 550's power and handling until it is gone. I am very very happy to be reunited with my 550.
