Well at least they sound like minor problems! Had my door seals replaced last year and not a creak since, I'm surprised its still an issue on 2009s. i kinda slam my doors anyway so got used to it, other people tend to leave my doors ajar. I had some creaking in the back i could not really locate but the dealership seemed to find it and fix it.

Are you sure the 528 was loosing grip or was it just excessive roll? I noticed the same thing before I added my anti sway bars it feels like its loosing it but it doesn't...with the changes I made you can really push it a lot further before it slips out. Once you get used to the handling and acceleration it's really noticable when you downgrade. at least you got a 528 I only ever get a 328xi
It was not a roll issue as much as a lack of grip from the tires. I could feel them beginning to slide out from me and give way. My feel for that kind of stuff is pretty good as I drive twisties a lot on the weekends. Of course, roll was not nearly as controlled as on a 550i sport with ARS.

As I was pulled out of the dealer, I saw that they had a bunch of 335 loan cars. I would have gotten one of those over the 528 in a heartbeat.

Shouldn't this be in the Loaner Car thread? Or perhaps under the title "Let's see how many posts Scott can get out of his own thread?" So far it's 6 out of 12!

I don't have ARS but my car before and after modding is like night and day, just need new wheels and to be lowered

+1 on the 335...a nice coupe would be welcome

sorry to hear your pain.

my '08 550i, unlike my 2005 545i , is nearly perfect.

the 545i visited service so often my wife joking referred to it as the" ultimate service machine"

I have not one problem...that I was not prepared for and know how to easily deal with myself..

Sure, creaking door seals ..little warm water clean terry towel every few months..noise goes away. few other minor issues....

This car drives like crazy. makes me happy every day. Huge little improvements in 2008 LCI

thats about it.

mine must have been built during the three day shift right after bonus's distributed!!

Your fly lighting upgrades may be the problem.

I don't think so because I don't leave them on when the motor is off. I am fairly certain that the culprit is the fact that the doors do not fully close (which shuts off the interior dome light) unless slammed and the parking attendance in my garage have often left the driver's side door slightly open which turns on the courtest lights.
