trade in value on 05 545i???

My Ride: 2005 BMW 545I SMG, Black Sapphire Metallic, Anthracite Maple Wood Trim, Cold Weather Pkg, Logic 7 Pkg, Sport Pkg, BMW Nav Pkg, HUD Pkg, Gargo Liner.
anybody know what the trade in value on a 545i 05 with nav, sports pk, HUD, Logic7, rear shades, cold weather pk, with 400miles ? one dealer give me $49,000 i think he's full of it. thinking about a alpine white

You are going to take a major, major hit (probably like to the tune of $7-8K). If you're absolutely loaded go for it, but you're giving your dealer a nice Christmas present. your car looks well equipped, it's an 05, Blk sapphire is a nice color, what gives? If it is hard to keep clean, you could just about have it detailed every other month with the difference you're going to give up!

[/quote]well my car was broken into a few weeks back and the damage they did will cost me around 1500 to fix I was just thinking if tradin it in for another one would make more sense since this is a new car and all.

[/quote]What is the deductible on your insurance? Find a BMW approved body shop in your area, get some references and 3-4 price quotes and go with the most expensive and best referenced. Once it is all cleaned up properly you won't think about it again.
