Tracking the car on the web (www.2wglobal.com)
The owner's circle is not accurate, my car is in NJ at the VPC now but I can find the way to track it on the http://www.2wglobal.com web site. (Wallenius Wilhelmsen
).
Did any of you were successful doing it on the web?
if so, where do you enter the VIN number of the Production number ?
Thanks for your help,
Mo

I assume you found how to enter your VIN on the web site but got no results. BMW is now using a second shipping company, the name of which escapes me. Tracking is not available with this second shipper. My car came over on a WW ship, so I was able to track mine. OC has quite a lag in it, shipping co. was very up to date, but once it enters VPC, check w/ your dealer for latest updates. My car took 1 week from arrival in port to at my dealer and this seems to be good timeframe, assuming no issues like damage enroute, etc.

I'll assume you couldn't find how to do it on the Wallenius site.
First, click here to open the cargo tracking window.
Once you have the cargo tracking window open, click on "Auto" (under track by cargo).
From there, enter your VIN in the "Cargo ID" field and click "track".
If you get no results, either your car isn't on the boat yet or it's being shipped on the other cargo line (that won't let you track it).
Good luck.

The second shipper is "K" Line - Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha LTD. Their web site does not have online tracking like WW. Most of their ships have the name --- Highway. Someone gave me the email address of a contact at the company but they never replied. I also have noticed a 1-3 day lag in changing the car status at the OC site.
