I downloaded this file.? When file is opened, all I get is the sound, but no video?
You maybe need the divx codec? - www.divx.com

Its a divx file, but you definitely need to right click, save as and download the file before playing. Is that the problem or perhaps the codec is the problem?

Thanks SG got the superb vid now - Cheers

Those are the factory brakes? I only managed to do that only once on the street and in a fabia 1.4 16v 101hp .
Since then i never ever managed to do that...dunno why? myabe the traffic....it was in the city center though.

I thought the brakes on the E60 with M kit have alot of clearance and are very good ventilated. Saw the channel in the bumper....
I want to do that but i'm kinda scared from my last accident and i'm too afraid what might happen to the car in all this trafic.

Still downloading the file...10kb/sec ((( Bad server...

Nope sorry, thinking back on it I've still not really posted a proper forum topic on the subject. AP Racing used my car as their e60 test bed, and created the biggest brake kit they could fit under the 18" MVs. They came up with 6 pot calipers with 362mm discs

I'm running that setup with Ferrodo DS2500 pads. I can assure you that the std disks would be glowing a whole lot more!!

These are the kind of brakes BMW's should have IMHO.

No idea - a friend found the pic on the internet. I'm pretty confident its my car, considering its the only e60 in the world with that brake kit setup (in particular notice the pattern on the discs - AP's latest technology which they claim is the same performance as grooved discs but quieter)

I'm still trying to trace the author - my friend can't remember where he downloaded it from
