Whoo hoo! I installed my Sprintbooster (thx Andy!) yesterday morning without any error codes.
One thing to for those of you installing a SB, make sure to match the numbers inside the housings of the accelerator and the SB. Had it installed in 5 mins and was headed out to the racetrack.
My car only has 1700 miles on it (delivered 3/18/08) and other than the SB, is a stock car. The weather was a sunny and a cool 74 F, with winds N at about 11 mph. We actually had strong headwinds coming down the track which dropped everybody's time a bit. Hopefully the next time we track, the winds will be behind us instead of in front.
I had my front tires at 34 psi and my rears at 30 psi. Any suggestions as to what psi I should be running on these RFT's at the track?
Out of 4 runs, my 2nd run turned out to be the best. I had the best reaction time (yes, half a tenth of a second!) and fastest quarter mile (almost flat 14 seconds). I'm pretty sure that had the winds been behind us or gone entirely, I could have finished in the high 13's.
Once I get my SSTT and BMC filter put in and my Vredestein tires on, I'll give an update on my track times. I'm shooting for mid 13's.

Thats pretty close to stock time.
Just curious, did you have DSC/DTC enabled when you did your runs?
Your 60' time seems a bit high which suggests some wheelspin when considering your 1/4 time and trap speed. I think you should be getting better times with a SB installed.
I have no experience on dealing with RFT's at a track, but if I wanted better times I'd take a good look at doing something about those tires. Keep us posted when you try the Vredesteins

I had DSC/DTC disabled...held the button down for about 5 seconds and warning message popped up saying it was turned off. You're right, I did have some wheel spin off the line. I'm hoping the Vredesteins will help in that department.
Just curious - why didn't you do a run with DSC or DTC enabled?
With normal tires you would want the tp a bit higher than normal. I just don't know how to set up RFT's on a track or if its even comparable to non RFT's.

Nice R/T!
The 60' time is not bad either considering on RFT Tires. With better tires, you should hook a lot better therefore reducing your E/T. I would have imagined a higher Trap Speed though
I have seen faster numbers on the 545i and 550i am I wrong? Very nice numbers none the less.

Now that looks like fun!!!!!
Some thoughts?
Any power braking at the line or just nailing it on the green? Did you manual shift?

Did you just want to see what your car can do, or are you gonna try to mod it out to be a weekend racer?

What does the race track charge you to use it for something like this?

Waiting for our track to open up here for some street nights. My brother has a big mouth about his G35 Coupe. He needs some schooling.
IceyTys,
I had a 1997 Eclipse GSX and a 93.5 Supra TT. What were your times?
