My Ride: 2006 Titanium Silver 550i, with all the bells and whistles!!

I voted yes because I would love to track my car, however, I can't fit a road trip to NC in my schedule. Good luck, if it happens, take lots of pics and let us know how it goes.

And example of how expensive it is for a track day
Barber Motorsports Park (Bham/Leeds ALA) for 2 days $28,000, this does not include insurance. Break it you bought it rule ( Armco is $50 a foot and sections only come in 32" minimums) They will charge you for Clean up of any fluid leak, and if you go off line and do landscaping damage or destroy Turf...you get to pay for that too! This was with a discount , and there is a Huge waiting list for track rentals, if you give up your spot you get bumped to the back of the wait list to rent it out.
Most clubs that rent it out have have a Large Number of cars (50-60+) or charge crazy high fees to keep the numbers reasonable.
BMP is I've heard the 3rd most expensive track to rent (Mid Ohio and Leg. Seg.)so many places are much cheaper, but you have to have Corner workers, EMS/FIRE, and over looked Security too. Things add up very quickly
As the saying goes , you gotta pay to play...

I'd be up for a track day at VIR, we've (father-in-law and I) have a dedicated track car that we keep up there. Not sure that I'd bother taking my 525 on the course, but the Z06 would be fun
.
