Hi all, just wondering if my june 2004 530d could have a TPMS module retrofit or is it only available factory fitted on the LCI version ?

I have to ask, why would you want this? If you replace wheels this can be a major PITA or at least cost you a couple hundred bucks to add TPMS to each aftermarket wheel, keeping the originals on the stock wheels. I dunno, to each their own I guess. I like the monitoring system in my car that needs to be manually reset when you inflate the tires. It may or may not work, but either way I think it really overkill.

Yes, agreed... Why would you want to deal with with TPMS or any big brother required monitoring system?! It makes a $600 tire change into a $1000 tire change. It's a PITA.

I for one do not like FMVSS 138!
