I have had a TPM malfunction light on for the past week . (tire pressure monitoring) I cannot reset it. Do I need to go to the dealer? The tire presures are all fine. Thanks

Jeff - Is it possible that you had something in the trunk that could've leaked straight down onto the TPM controller under the spare? It happened to me...I took it to the dealer and they found the controller box wet and shorted out. They charged me $600+ as of course it wasn't covered under warranty . I now understand the controller can be bought from the dealer for $200 (approx) and possibly just snaps on/off of a connector.

Good luck with whatever the issue is.

What do you mean "you cannot reset it"? Are you trying to initiate the reset while the car is stationary?

And what happens when you try to reset it? Does the iDrive screen change at all?
