tpm malfunction
been getting this error since yesterday. was just driving along and then it popped up. when I shut car off and restart it all reads well showing green on all four tires, then drive a few mins and bamb it's back
anyone have any ideas? 2007 550i

TPMS Alert
It could be one of the in-wheel sensors about to fail or ... one of the receivers dropping out ... or you could actually have one tire that is just on the borderline of inflation pressure that warms up / cools down and triggers the alert. On my '07 it would alert which specific tire was low - are you getting that alert or a general TPMS failure message? Look at the control messages in iDrive to see if any are stored there. Otherwise it may mean a dealer inspection to see if a system problem exists.

it's not just one tire pressure being off as I looked and they are all green but its a Full fail the whole system it doesn't show anything after it gives that error message. I did run over a squirrel in a banged pretty hard on the back left rear but I figure you would tell me if it was one tire going bad wouldn't it??
