Have you reset in the idrive? When the light goes off if you top up the air, it doesn't make the light go off. You need to go into the idrive and find the "reset TPM".

Sorry if you have already done that, doesn't say in your post.

Did you get TPMS installed in the new wheels?

Sorry guys,I don't know much about cars,I haven't had my car for that long either, but I did try the reset. And I'm assuming TPMS is a sensor that goes on the wheel? If so,I don't think they put that on at the shop I brought it to. Thanks for responses

That's the problem. TPMS malfunction comes on either when one of the sensors is bad or you are missing a sensor (or all of them). Have the wheel shop look into it for you. Good luck!

Check the valve stems. If they are rubber then you probably do not have the tpms sensor. It they are metal you probably do. If you don't have the sensors you can buy them for about $200 and then pay to get them installed. They go inside the tire, so you will have to get the tires removed from the rims and put back on.

The problem is you can't have chrome wheels on a bmw...It blocks the tpms from sending a signal do to the bling factor...

this is what I've found on ebay. The first pic I think is just of the stem, the second I think is of the whole kit,let me know if I'm correct guys.Descriptions aren't too detailed on there, it's about $215 shipped to Canada.

Yeah you need the whole thing, the sensor is the black part you see in the one pic. The stem attaches to it and it's installed from the inside of the wheel. The dealership will have to program them after they are installed.
