I wonder how many 545i's BMW will have produced by the end of July 2005?
Since the 550i's are rumoured to start production in September 2005.
One thing is for sure 545i's will NEVER be obsolete.

Well if you look at FDMelons sales numbers you can get an idea. In MY2004 there were about 5600 545s sold in the US( I don't think this includes ED) and I would guess that this is the majority since fuel cost in the rest of the world favor smaller engines or diesles.
So maybe 10,000 world wide for 2004???
