Hi, not sure what the glow plugs are as I haven't bought them yet. The engine spec as far as I know is 2993cc,173KW, M57 D30 (306D3) if that makes sense. I 'm also fitting a new water pump, thermostat and serpentine belt tensioner so would be obliged if you can give torque settings for them? otherwise i will just have to make them tight!!! Thanks for the info on the glow plugs as I think they were the most important as I wanted to know just how much torque I could apply when removing them. I realise it might take a bit more than 13Nm to loosen them but on the other hand I don't want to break any, I would prefer to leave them rather than have the hassle of removing any broken ones. I will test the resistance before I try and replace them and I also have a new heater plug module to fit so that might cure my engine management light. Thanks Paneuro.

Those specs I can't give. I tighten those parts by feel. The torque specs I gave you are correct for your car.

Thanks for the info, I can cope by tightening by feel but did not want to take a chance undoing the glow plugs! Having said that there must be somewhere these torque settings are available. If I find it I will let you know thanks Paneuro.

I know if you had ISTA you could find the torque specs there.

. Hi, thanks for that. I have Carly and I am quite disappointed in the performance. Maybe INSTA is the way to go, I will look into that. thanks Paneuro
