I went to the grocery store last night and popped the trunk to place the goods in there and guess what...

The trunk liner was never installed back so my trunk interior was laying in my trunk. Ok great, well I'll put the groceries in my back seat then. After completing that I noticed the seat rail trim wasn't reinstalled either. W T F!?!? Not only did they NOT do anything for 3 days, they didn't even put the car back together!!

Was this the Tucson dealer?

Might be time to drive north for the next visit.

it certainly was. Don mackey did hardly anything to my car, kept it for 3 days instead of the quoted one, and then never completed the task. Beware...

WOW! Not sure if I should laugh at you or feel sorry for you. That sucks. Sounds like you got a very bad dealer. How can they not reinstall everything?

That dealer gave me NOTHING but problems when I lived in Tucson. I would take my E34 there for what seemed like a monthly visit to fix the same problem. Over and over again. Luckily (after a year of this) I moved to the DC area and on the first visit to a dealer in Maryland the problem was fixed. It turned out the Tucson dealer just kept `repairing' a bad $90 cable and didn't bother replacing it.

ok well some credit is due now. I told the service manager first thing this morning the scenario and he sent a guy out to pick up my car at the office, left me a BRAND NEW X5 and is replacing the wheel now. So he did exactly what he should have. He didn't just fix the problem, he made it even better. I will have to give them the benefit of the doubt for the time being. In business thats all you can expect is to make a bad situation better so I am happy now.
