Well the CA forgot to give me my spare keyfob and the plastic wallet key, even though she said she put it in the bag that was carrying the car manual. I guess I'll grab that on Monday.

I have a quick question about the USB interface, wondering if someone can assist. There are two USB interface in my car. One in the glove box and one in the center console. I'm assuming the 2009 and 2008 cars are this way too. Anyway, I have this cheap Sony 1gb flash drive that I plugged into the usb port in the center console which loads the music into the idrive fine, but I can't save it to the cars hard drive. Any ideas?
I tried to use the usb port in the glove box and the idrive says no external files found..

I'm thinking either I got a sucky flash drive and need a better one? One that is compatible with BMW?? or does that even exist? or I need to take my car back to the dealer and see whats wrong with the software..

2010 is the first model year that the E60 has a hard drive. So you are a trailblazer.

So what about the fact that that beautiful ride has to come to the July 25th meet?

So this morning when I started up mhy car I noticed that the white lines were alraedy set at 3 lines instead of 5 or 6+ lines during a cols start on my previous 5er.
I got worried and started searching the forums and apparently BMW stopped this feature for LCI models and up?

What gives? Why would they take away the only vital instrument that lets us know when the car is fully warmed up?

All I can say is wow... I didn't even drive it over 3K rpm but I could already see what this car coud do.
My previous car was a 2007 525i non sport car and I have a 2010 535i, sports pkg and this car is awesome..

Today's weather sucked here so my pics won'be so great, anyway I am very happy with this purchase.
Great color combo! Congratulations!

LOL she has on flip flops.

Also I just put in a DVD movie disc after going to blockbuster and as long as your in park it does play the DVD.

I'll post pics soon.

first off that car is amazing!! the new idrive looks so badass! congrats on that.

second, im pretty sure you can get the screen rewired to play dvds at all times. its typically a wire connected to the transmission sensors. if you just disconnect that and ground it, screen should work at all times for movies. my friend added a screen here in lincoln and by law they are supposed to hook it up and disable it when its not in drive. he paid cash and got no receipt so they re wired it so it could be on at all times. im sure you could get it done!!

either way the car looks amazing!! have any mod plans right now?
