Took Delivery - Alpine Whirte 550i LCI Sport SAT
My 1st post here, been lurking for a long while, but man I need to get off this site! Your car looks amazing! Almost exactly how I wanna order mine but w/ a configured price of $73,720 (LCI 550, manual tranny, AW w/ black interior & poplar wood trim, spt pkg, active steering, CWP, comfort access, Navi, HUD, rear seat heat, rear shades, split rear seats, lane depart warn, sirius, iPod/USB, & L7), I need to pay down this mortgage and my wife's car a bit more before I can even think of a new car for myself. Anyway, congratulations on the new ride and do report back your impressions after driving for a few weeks.
(still tryna figure out how to reduce the size of the sig pic...)

Regarding the mirrors... it looks like my guy will do more mirror sets. We decided that we would partner up and do a limited group buy, not more than 10. If anyone is interested, send me a PM and I will give you pricing information and more details. The mirrors come painted and my bodyshop guy (who installed them) indicated that they had to be painted at the factory, the quality was that good. So chipping is no concern at all.
Regarding Alpine White... I wasn't even conidering the color. I was going carbon black all the way. But then I saw it at the dealer and that was all it took. The black in the grill and fogs, and the flares of the side sirts and fenders really are enhanced by the AW.
And the all black interior helps to "sport up" what I feel is a not very sporty interior to begin with.

I have the exact same story about the AW--didn't think that much of it until I saw it in person in a showroom, and never looked back.
TIA for the PM....

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is the purpose of the 'rear 12mm spacers'? Are these wheel spacers to make the rear wheels stand out further? If so, does this enhance the handling of the car?
Must admit to not knowing anything about this mod.....

Beautiful
Excellent choice with the spacers too.

Thanks for the recommendation regarding the spacers. 12mm is perfect.
One cool thing I noticed about the side mirrors... because the way the glass is shaped/made, blind spots are elimated on the car. Basically, I will see the car next to me and still in the side mirror. So a car to my left or right is never out of view!
Also... There are still some open spots on the group buy for the mirrors so pm me know if you want in.
