well, the 2004-1 DVD for BusNav states on the back that it is there

the nav system itself (and the car setup menu as well) show that TMC is there but 'no signal' due to it not being activated, since here in the UK there certainly IS signal

other sources as well... website? adverts? can't remember but trust me, we didn't make it up

Plus if you look in the UK brochure for the Business Sat Nav the picture shows the TMC symobol on the bottom of the I-Drive Screen.

I am still waiting for a reply from BMW GB as to why it is not working - wrote 2 months ago, had a pathetic reply, wrote again a month ago but not heard anything. Phoned twice and told someone would ring me straight back - still waiting! What wonderful service..............!

I went to my dealer last week in the UK.Apparently TMC should work September (ish). They said that if you tune to Classic fm on the radio it will start to work. I haven't tried it cos I want to listen to something other than classical music! (Classic FM is the carrier signal!)

How are you getting on with directions. I find mine is approx 100 yds adrift and a few times I have gone wrong if not looking at the screen (Extremely dangerous practice). It's almost as though its designed to be operated by two people!

Not happy with it's function at all! Also notice 2004 disc is well out of date concerning roads such as M6 toll road and hotel locators!

i've been told NEVER is when tmc will work with the busNav.. wish it weren't so...

as for classicFM, well, it doesn't work that way: the proNav folk can attest

as for outofdate disc, does anyone, Bus or ProNav, have a system that reognises congestion charging zone?

With the pro nav one tuner is tuned to Classic FM the other to what ever station you want to listen to.The TMC works just fine .

i assume the one tuner here/the other there thing is automatic... just kind of happens?
my profRadio tunes my selected station with the 2nd tuner doing that 'all stations' thing -- yours must shift between 'all stations' and TMC in the background?
otherwise
how do you tune 1 tuner to one place the the other to a 2nd?

cheers
