Have a ton of songs and went to plug in my ipod this morning and it shows "Daryl's Ipod" but it only shows a 4-5 letter scrambled something for each title. All songs are organized and set up correctly through iTunes. What am I missing?

This means it shows file names from iPod (they are random 4-5 letter combinations instead of actual song names). Did you enable or disable 'enable disk mode' in iTunes?

Was using the normal Ipod cable. Call my salesman, DJ @ Richmond BMW, and he took care of me within the hour with the proper cable. Thanks for the reply.

I am assuming you need a special iPod cable from BMW to use the AUX port for you iPod? I notice there is a "line in". What is it used for and how do you use it?

The 3.5mm stereo aux input is purely a line in which, as far as I know, cannot be intelligent. You must be referring to another input.

I tried using my usb iPod cable in the E60's USB port. The port recognizes a usb dive, but not the iPod.
