Thumbs up

I am intrigued to know whether the colours look the same. I got mine at launch and then a few weeks later the colour changed names. Of course I felt like my car was now an old model and so I asked BMW why and they told me it was just down to the paint mixture coding. They also maintained that the two colours looked identical. Sounds strange to me! I think it was changed as TG1 looks green in dull light and hasn't been a popular choice in the UK. I think TG2 looks more silver than grey. As TG seems to be a popular choice in the USA/Canada, does anyone know the real reason for the quick change?

No I dont work for BMW ( I wish I did)

The data is from where panel shops get the formulas

They change colors all the time, no reason for a respray

Dont you like how your car looks ?

I like the colour in bright light but not in dull weather. Whenever I see a Silver Grey E60 out on the road I always wish I had that colour. I remember when BMW changed Arctic Silver to Titan Silver on the E39 and it just made the older colour look dated, however this was after a no of years, not weeks. I just find it all a bit annoying

BMW could always devise a nice weather option. It could be operated through the I-drive

Quick Reply: Titanium Grey 1 same as Titanium Grey 11?
