Shadowline is de-chroming in europe although there is a difference on some models, some E46 models had 3 options, Chrome (standard), dechrome (matt black) and shadowline (high gloss black)

my 330 Cic sport had high-gloss Shadowline (?300 option) and it looked great.

ps.... Titanium Grey seems to be getting more popular as an alternative to silver grey?

i always like titanium grey, my last e46 is steel grey. gorgeous.
shadow line is included with the sports package here in canada, it refers to the chrome trim around the window/door frame being black than chrome. personal preference really and i think both looks sharp. rollee

Thanks for the 'shadowline' explanation. I GOT IT! Picked up my car at BMW Experience yesterday - lousy, rainy day, so no pics yet. Stay tuned.
