My Ride: 2003 530iSE.
I just obtained a copy of TIS- it identifies my vehicle from the serial number, but I've read on this forum that TIS will produce a list of which options the car was fitted with at manufacture, but I can't see how to obtain this information.
Anyone know if TIS really does have this capability, and if so, how to get the info.?

Although the TIS identifies your model from the VIN number, it is only the generic model that it sees - as you go on you may see options for LHD, Manual 'box etc.
The options that you have may be covered in the TIS, but you will have to search for them individually. As you start looking further into the TIS, you will see that a lot of the diagrams are for LHD cars, which obviously doesn't apply to you. If there is something fitted differently on RHD cars, then it will show this. Sometimes, you have to think the "wrong way round" when you are looking at TIS, but you get used to it, and all the information is there. Somewhere!
