DWS is in the lead.. hmmm... Those of you with the DWS, the ride is good? I was just worried about the staggered sport setup and the use of a tire with all weather capability... I mean there is a reason that people have winter and summer setups. I just want to make sure this tire is good, comfortable and performs well in the warmer months as well.
Thanks all!

Tire Rack has some winter and summer test videos that include the Continental Extreme Contact DWS. I recommended them to my Mom who is replacing her tires soon.

Those back-orders at TireRack generally get updated every couple of days. That's the risk of shopping for tires that are top performers at a reasonable price. Check back from time to time (thru Mr Rebates) but be ready to push the button when you see them.

Good luck with your hunt!

Thanks for all your opinions! I am ditching the runflats and I bought a set of Continental Extreme Contact DWS's... 4 brand new tires for less than the price of 2 new runflats($435 rear each and $386 front each). The reviews by consumers and professionals like Motor Trend, Car and Driver, TireRack etc were just too good to ignore. I was really leaning towards the Hankook V12's but I live in the Northeast and like the idea of running a performance tire that is also an all weather tire... The run flats were just way too expensive - and for some reason my car came with a spare so I dont feel I am sticking myself out here.

I got the last 2 rear Continental Extreme Contact DWS's Tire Rack had and they said they dont expect a shipment anytime soon. I got the fronts from Discount Tires Direct and have to say, the free shipping from them is a bonus and their prices were just as good as TireRack. I would have gotten all 4 from there but they only had the fronts and TireRack only had the rears...

I will have 2 front runflats (one BRAND NEW and the other probably no more than a couple thousand miles on it) for sale... the size is 245/40/18 - Dunlop SP Sport 01 DSST RunOnFlat so PM me if interested. They should be off my car by the end of next week and I will take pictures to post.
