Looks like new tire time for my '07 525i w. sport package. Been running on stock Goodyear Eagle NCT5 EMT. Looking for a great - really great - handling quiet tire. Summer use only. (I'm in SoCal). Thanks for advice/suggestions.

PS2's is a favorite but for 18" 245/40's also the new Michelin Primacy could be an option.

Some even say Pirelli P Zero could be nice.

Non RF's they are...

A good option at a reasonable price (without giving up significant performance) is the Falken FK452. It has done very well in tests against the more costly options like RE050A's, Eagle F1 GSD3 etc. Overall very good user feedback too.

The new Eagle F1 Assymetic is getting good reviews too and I do not think it is a lot of $$.

My Bridgestone RE050A's are loud, and 2 were out of round when I bought them. Also, they "resonsate" when I make slow turns. I wouldn't get them again, although they are great handling tires in wet and dry...my $0.02
