2006 E5004matic- I must have been on drugs when I got this car
2004 545i Black Sapphire/Truffle Brown interior
I was wondering how long it would take for some idiot to rip off my metal valve cap covers , answer, 7 months.
I am curious, is it only me?
LOL, can only imagine what the replacement costs will be from BMW.

My Ride: Oxford Green E60 530D with tuning box and all the toys!
7 months!!!
They last about 7 days here if you are lucky.
Seems to be the latest sport. Buy a handful of plastic ones and replace them weekly is the only answer.

I've now invested in a set of theft-resistant ones, like these:

[/quote]Factory dust caps made of metal rather than the normal plastic... I've had mine for almost 2 years and they're still there - I'm surprised!

My Ride: 530iSE, Black Saphire with beige leather, auto, lux pack, comms pack, viz pack, power mirrors, 122 wheels
I have done mine up with a leather-man pliers and keep it in the boot. A casual brat will find them too tight. I bet they don't get nicked in parts of the middle east!! Chop their thieving hands off!
