i have 2006 525i w/ sports package with runflats and they seem to make too much road niose than regular tires and wanted some recommendations for regular tires that performs well with sports package (less noise and thread wear) i am in Los Angeles so don't have to worry about snow and too much rain.

I bought a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus and am very happy with them.

What's your budget? Unlimited or are you looking for less expensive tires? Check out the selection and ratings on tirerack and if you buy on line through the link in my signature you get an extra rebate.

I went with the General Exclaim UHP tires when I'm not running my Bridgestone UHP Summer RFTs. They aren't bad handlers and are very moderately priced. Michelin's PS2s are another well-liked tire but much pricier. Some of the very inexpensive tires may actually cost you more because of rapid tread wear.
